Thanks to its dyeing facilities, finishing department and the range of coating and solvent treatment options on offer, the expert company, which also has its own laboratory, is the perfect link between the weaving mill and the finished product manufacturer for KNEITZ.
In Germany's traditional textile manufacturing region of Upper Franconia, the expertise in this particular industry has grown from generation to generation for well over 200 years. The high quota of qualified staff and the most up-to-date expert knowledge, skills and technologies make the brand Knopf's Sohn the leading supplier in the area of quality finishes and features for high-end fabrics. Knopf's Sohn is closely involved in ongoing research and has traditionally stood for innovation ever since 1809.
Hofer Textilveredelungs GmbH applies finishes to high-end textile surfaces. The company's core expertise lies in the creation of multi-layered composite coatings through the flame lamination of foams. HTV uses state-of-the-art lamination equipment to produce finishes to customer specifications. The company also takes over the final inspection of the fabrics and the packaging of the rolls according to KNEITZ's specifications. Thanks to the extensive call-off stocks kept on stock, the company is able to handle all of the logistics and direct deliveries to the production sites.
All internal processes are governed by the management systems EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015. The extremely modern laboratory equipment, the continuous optimisation of processes with the aim of meeting the IATF 16949 requirements and a fully integrated PDA/ERP system guarantee the necessary transparency and offer maximum planning reliability.
