Velebo was originally developed in response to a specific request from a major European company. The brief was simple: to create a 70% polyester / 30% wool fabric that could help reduce life-cycle costs by remaining in the vehicle for 15 to 20 years. The result is an exceptionally durable 70/30 velour with an abrasion resistance of 300,000 to 500,000 cycles. Its performance has proven so successful that the fabric is now also used within the rail sector. Combining outstanding durability with elegant designs and timeless colours, Velebo is ideally suited to both touring coaches and scheduled passenger transport. Its extended service life also offers a more sustainable approach to vehicle upholstery, reducing the need for frequent replacement while maintaining the quality and appearance expected from a premium fabric.
